I volunteered as a photographer for iEARN in multiple US and international locations for events and conferences after working on a collaborative project setting up computer centers for schools to use with iEARN and a partner organization, IREX. From the latter experience, I knew that iEARN delivers on what it promises, and delivers well. Their network of contacts and partnerships with education ministries and departments, school administrators, educators, students and alumni are robust and extensive. And by volunteering I gained even further respect for iEARN; their collaborative projects transform the lives of the students and educators who participate. Participants gain incredibly close bonds to those with whom they collaborate, no matter how great the distance between their countries (literally or figuratively). iEARN's work increases global understanding and fosters clearer communication. I can't recommend them strongly enough.
