12/8/2011: Rock of Safety Ministries had their tax-exempt status revoked for the last 3 years. They minister in churches and elsewhere (in this country and abroad) accepting donations from people and organizations that believe their donations are tax-deductible. They have deleted the wording 'donations are tax-deductible' from their website, however, it states that a receipt will be issued to the donor. Debbie Stephens is involved with Payson Humane Society and Bobby Stephens works doing odd jobs. I am aware that they have their earnings funneled through their ministry (having any employers make the checks out to their ministry) avoiding having to pay taxes. I have made them aware of their revocation status and Bobby became very defiant requesting me to be confidential about it. I am very much for advancing the kingdom of God but they are not doing it legally.
