I am privileged to serve on the Advisory Board of SOSA West here in Kansas City Missouri. I have seen first-hand the breath and the depth and scope of the work hundreds of volunteers commit to each day. They are truly submitting to the servants-model of "a man for others". The countless hours of "gleaning", the hard but rewarding work that entails speaks volumes in terms of community support. From Harvesters to various feeding agencies throughout the metropolitan Kansas City area, SOSA is there committed and ready to serve. This is truly an organization that is clear in it's mission and goals. Congratulations to all who serve and for those among us that have no voice SOSA speaks up and out for them through it's partnerships and advocacy. I'm honored and proud to be a small part in this effort.
