cneer came to my rescue in the spring of 2011. i lost my beloved 40 year old horse chief. my other horse mac was devastated with the loss and became very depressed and anxious. i contacted cneer about fostering one of their rescue horses. within days, literally, i was taken to a couple of barns where some of the horses that were available to be fostered were housed. i fell in love with a young thoroughbred named whiskey lullaby. whiskey was going to suffer the same fate as many racing horses. he was headed to slaughter. fortunately for whiskey cneer stepped in and saved him. within a couple of more days cneer delivered this life saver to my farm to mac and i. mac fell instantly in love as did i. cneer saved whiskey's life and in turn whiskey, i feel, saved mac's life. i fell so much in love with whiskey that i ended up adopting him. could never imagine my life, or mac without him here. tried to attach a video of an average day here at my farm with the two boys playing. they really are a scream. cneer is a group of dedicated people that give so much of themselves and there is a special place in heaven for all of them!
