My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Food & Water Watch, Washington, DC, USA
I have been involved as a volunteer for Food & Water Watch for almost 2 years. The staff is well-organized, well-educated, and truly committed to safe food and safe water. They are quick to provide whatever we need in the local communities to keep momentum going. We have had access to several documentary films about the food industry to screen locally, and our local and state representatives respect the work that Food & Water Watch does around the country. I have worked with Colorado State University students on getting rid of plastic water bottles as well as local organic farmers who want a fair Farm Bill in 2012. I am passionate about working for food and water safety, and will continue to volunteer with F&WW.
