Soldiers Angels has many programs to benefit the military and their families, and also veterans. My first experience with the group was when I adopted a deployed soldiers through them. I was able to send cards and packages and it made me feel good to be able to help a soldier who is so far from home. Soldiers Angels has many groups and projects where you can donate. If you can't adopt a solider, then you can use your talents to do some great work. I especially like the sewing team. I am aking a quilt to send and also have made a crocheted blanket of gratitude for a veteran in a VA hospital. Crocheting and knitting is part of the sewing team. It enables me to do my part in giving back and it warms my heart to be able to do so.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have heard back from my deployed adopted soldier and he assured me that they received the packages and it made his and his team's day!
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I cannot think of any changes at the moment. They seem to be handling everything quite well!
Volunteer & adopted a soldier, sent cards (Card Plus Team), sewing and crocheting blankets.
