While I was in Afghanistan, Soldiers' Angels sent me care packages for not only myself, but so that I could host events and a Christmas party to release some of the tension that we were encountering while we were living in our 3ft x 2ft personal area. When I came back, Soldiers' Angels had community events to help me to reintegrate into soceity. The love that they packed into each and every box that they sent me... It made me feel a little less alone in a country where alone was all anyone ever felt.
