Volunteering with IHF was a great experience, I learned so much. Teaching English to the kids was challenging, because I'd never taught before, but so rewarding. But also getting involved in running the Jakarta centre, finding the kids most in need, and seeing how an NGO works was really amazing.

I learnt so many new skills. I hope to go on and work in this field. My Indonesian improved heaps also, and I met so many amazing people.
