THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE INC
October 6, 2011
I've known Dario J. Moore from our days together at Ballethnic Dance Company in Atlanta, GA. He was a hard working performing and there were many numerous positive attributes that he absorbed that he is applying in running his Arts organization! He comes from a tradition of artistry that is equipped with influences from all the major schools of thought in the dance world, i.e.; Classical and Contemporary Ballet, Modern, Jazz and fusion work as well. The training bases range from School of American Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem and the Juilliard School to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center as well. Its good to see what kind of a positive influence he is having on his community and I wish him and his colleagues well in their future endeavors!
BDC 1995 - 2006
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Seeing a former student and fellow dancer forge his own path in the industry.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make sure they continue doing what they're doing since its obviously working!
How does this organization compare with others in the same sector?
How much of an impact do you think this organization has?
Will you recommend this organization to others?
What is unique about this organization?
Its always good to see an additional arts organization founded and directed by an African American male.
Professional with expertise in this field & I was a principal dancer with Ballethnic Dance Company and I trained with SAB, Juilliard and Dance Theater of Harlem. Dario also took our Young Men's classes at Ballethnic as well.
