My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Habitat for Hope, Millington, TN, USA
I began volunteering with Habitat for Hope after my son introduced me to this wonderful ministry. Having experienced a lengthy hospitalization when he was diagnosed with cancer, my heart was drawn to an opportunity to serve others whose children were suffering from life threatening diseases. One of my greatest memory was rocking a little baby boy in the NICU unit of LeBonheur hospital. Today, I love to visit with families at the hospital taking meals, praying and encouraging them. I will volunteer wherever I am needed which might be at a work day at the Millington HFH property or helping at the LUVMUD5K fundraiser. Both my son and daughter-in-law are on staff with this amazing organization. I am grateful that volunteering with HFH has become a family affair with my husband and the grandparents getting involved.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the joy i receive in serving alongside HFH. The thankfulness of the families that we serve.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
love to see the volunteer base and financial support grow.
