I have been a mentor with the Friends for Youth program for alittle over than a year. It's been great experience every step of the way. I was a bit intimidated initially because mentoring seems to be such a big responsibility/commitment. Any fears or concerns I may have had were gone the moment I began engaging with the FFY team. They run a professional and supportive program. As with most things in life, the hardest part is just getting started. I am so glad I took that first step. I am proud to be associated with this nonprofit. I can't recommend it highly enough.
