I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing animals that have been through traumas (like Brownie, the dog who came in with a severely burned back, or Cookie whose leg was so shattered it had to be amputated) being adopted by people who will take care of them and who love them.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
expand the premises so there is more room for more animals. Of course, there's not much space in the area to begin with, and there's not enough funds for that.
Would you volunteer for this group again?

Did the organization use your time wisely?
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
It really opened me up to the idea of veterinary medicine. I was more leaning towards human medicine at first, but then I got to experience and see some of what they do. It was really fascinating.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
I felt like I was making a difference by helping these animals get ready to find homes that would take better care of them. It really was a phenomenal experience.
