Shopping for a Change sends half the net proceeds to fund projects in the artisans’ communities, like building a well. The other half goes to a US charity of the buyer’s choice or to an organization that’s partnered with them through their Fundraise for a Change program. I’ve been volunteering with Shopping for a Change for almost a year now and it’s amazing to see the impact we’re made in such a short period of time.
