Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
expand the campus to allow for more class offerings. I would have liked some shop classes.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
they understand what Diversity really is. The environment is so welcoming of everyone of EVERY background that it makes students WANT to learn about other cultures, religions, & classes of people. How better to prepare you for the real world??
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
true educators that focused on the needs of each individual student. No student got lost in the crowd at SJA.
Ways to make it better...
our science and computer labs were updated. It's hard to compete in a technological world when your lab equipment is out of date.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
financial of course. The staff here is dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes to produce strong women ready for life after high school - but the one thing holding them back is the funding
One thing I'd also say is that...
SJA has a proven track record. They've been educating young women for decades and are far from being a fly-by-night operation. They don't just talk the talk - they walk the walk.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
