Artists Striving To End Poverty Inc
August 10, 2009

My experience with ASTEP was life changing. I learned so much about myself and what I am capable of doing. I wish I would have knew a little more about the program before going down to Florida because I was a bit nervous, but I now realize that I had no reason to be nervous. The kids, other volunteers, and staff were amazing. I truly hope that I get to work with ASTEP again!!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the students I worked with and in who I am as a person.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try and get the camp plan a bit more laid out before the volunteers arrived. At times it would have been nice to not have to start from the ground up even though it was an awesome experience.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with a great group of artists.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

truly artists striving to end poverty. They were beyond amazing to work with.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

take the program all over the world and offer every child the opportunity to participate in this amazing camp experience. It could also provide scholarships for those students going on to college.

Ways to make it better...

I would have been better informed about what I was going to be doing before I went down there.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not being able to get a wide range of artists to teach the students.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I hope I get to come back!!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
