Community Servings
July 1, 2011

There's no place I would rather be on a Saturday than in the Community Servings kitchen, helping to chop vegetables, package meals, ladle soup into containers, or assist with any of the other kitchen tasks that need to get done in order to make sure that Community Servings' 750 clients get fed that week. No matter what task I'm performing, I always feel useful and valued as a volunteer. More than that, though, I feel welcome. The people at Community Servings have become like a second family to me. There is such a feeling of positive energy and good will at CS, and I always leave there smiling. Not only am I doing something good for the community, but I feel like something good is being done for me. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing the difference that these meals make in the lives of their clients. It is so moving to hear stories of families who have really benefited from receiving these meals.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

change nothing! This place is extremely efficient and well-run. No complaints.
