My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Food Allergy Association Of Wisconsin, Inc., Madison, WI, USA
I have been a member for several years since my son was diagnosed at as a toddlar. The group has provided me with many resources as my child's allergy information needs have changed over the years. The group has help with tips for cooking, preparing for birthday/social gatherings and preparing for school. It is also nice to meet other families dealing with many of same day to day issues of living with food allergies. I have also learned so much from the variety of speakers at the group meetings. The group has provided many fun and great allergen friendly events the last few years as well. I am grateful for all the great help these past years!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Knowing I am not the only parent dealing with the day to day issues of raising a child with food allergies.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The group had more access to grants or monies to provide more allergen friendly events.
