My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for AJC ACCESS, New York, NY, USA
Had an amazing experience at Durban II. The planning and communication, coordination, and support was all first rate. ACCESS opened my eyes to a whole new world of international multilateral diplomacy and put trust in me as a delegate. This is how to build long term relationships with an organization, and how to truly build a community.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the community of engaged youth they bring together and the trust they put in us to share our own voices about issues we're concerned with.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
increase engagement in all different parts of the world with social engagement that would help to change a whole cross-section of today's Jewish youth.
Ways to make it better...
I had known what was expected of me on the delegation and a way to fulfill that, but I wasn't completely sure if I was fulfilling their expectations.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the young community of Jews and their relationship to social justice as opposed to just a relationship to israel.
One thing I'd also say is that...
ACCESS needs to develop more relationships in Africa.
