weSPARK Cancer Support Center
July 27, 2009

I have known of the weSpark Center for several years, but only in the past year have I personally become affiliated with them. After having a close family member diagnosed with cancer, I can not believe how crucial cancer support centers, like weSpark, are to the patient's treatment and healing process. First what sets weSpark's apart is that is does not feel like a "cancer center" but more like a mental wellness and spa retreat where patients can enjoy yoga, or nutrition classes -- or find the support or therapy sessions they need in what is often an extrememly tense, stressful and painful experience. It's amazing places -- and people like the weSpark -- exist and continue to strive to bring the best techniques, methods and facilities to their patients.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my family members that have personal involvement as well as members of the amazing staff that I know.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure everyone in the local community ares, know about the amazing benefits of the center and how they could help.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the people that work for weSpark and the amazing benefits and immediate changes you see in the patients after first attending weSpark.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

exceptional in all ways.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

start support centers all over California to bring this support to others.

Ways to make it better...

I knew organizations like WeSpark will always be around to offer cancer patients their ancillary support.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

keeping up moral and funds.

One thing I'd also say is that...

WeSpark has my full support.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
