Project Jason

Omaha, NE

I met Kelly Jolkowski through the Project Jason website approximately a year ago as my nephew, Ben Roseland disappeared from Clinton, Iowa at the age of nineteen on February 9th, 2008. Kelly has helped guide me through so many different facets of having a missing loved one. One of our first conversations she stayed up very late to help me submit Ben's story in the trucking magazine Truck Job Seekers with the wonderful "18 Wheel Angels"featuring Ben's story. Kelly's organization has also assisted me in many different steps of organizing fund raisers, public awareness, and SAR procedures. I am SURE I am leaving out many other things this great organizations has assisted my family in, those were just to name a few. I would advise anyone who has a missing loved one to contact Project Jason as it has been a Godsend to me and Kelly, it's leading angel. Thanks so much for your time. Very Sincerely, Julie Connell, Aunt to Benjamin Malvin Roseland

The Great!
  • I've seen the results of this organization in... becoming acquainted with Kelly Jolkowski of Project Jason who as assisted me NON STOP when ever I had a concern, question, or just needed to talk. My nephew is missing and she has been there for me since I first contacted her.
  • What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... that I don't want to HAVE to be affiliated with anything concerning missing persons as I ONLY became aware of this organization because my nephew is missing. I have enjoyed Kelly's personality and her many ideas to assist my family.
  • The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... ONLY met Kelly through the internet, but she is WONDERFUL!
  • If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... FIND a way to have Law Enforcement really "dig" into the missing teens, not just to have L.E. assume that the kids are "runaways. Maybe install some kind of AMBER alert specifically for teens??? DON'T know for sure any thing specific.
Ways to make it better!
  • My experience would have been better if... CHANGE NOTHING, just assist them with more funding.
  • If I ran this organization, I would... Nothing, just assist them with more funding.
  • In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... NOTHING, just more funding.
  • One thing I'd also say is that... I am so sorry for those who have lost loved ones and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

MY ROLE:
I was a Volunteer & THERE was no place to mention that I am someone who's nephew went missing almost two years ago, but that is what "I DO".
