Rape Crisis Services of Lebanon County

Lebanon, PA USA

Rape Crisis Services of Lebanon County do an outstanding job of helping children and adults of all ages who are victims of sexual assault. They have many programs throughout Lebanon County to get the word out about their services. They have individual counseling, as well as group counseling. They go to schools, hospitals, bazaars, among many others so they can reach those who are in need of some help. They have wonderful staff who truly care about what they do, and they go above and beyond the call of duty when they are helping their clients. They have a director that dedicates herself to helping victims of sexual assault. As a current board member, I am humbled by the dedication of the Director, staff, volunteers, and board members, all of whom are constantly looking at ways to improve current services, reach more people, and to come up with new programs. If you or someone you know is a victim of sexual assault, this is the place to call. For more information: www.sarcclebanon.com

The Great!
  • What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... working with the Director and the other board members and knowing we are working together to help victims of sexual assault.
  • The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... the most dedicated and caring of individuals I have ever known.
  • If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... get every client that's on the waiting list off. With 10 Million dollars, they would never clients waiting on a list for services.
Ways to make it better!
  • In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... Funding, with constant cuts in the state budget, it is difficult to continue with the current services witout having to lay off any staff. So far, they have been fortunate.
