This is a truly incredible non-profit. The integrity and foresight they have with respect to education in Ghana (and eventually reaching out to more of West Africa) is unmatched. Having now been to Ghana and seen first hand the work being done through The Building Fund, I'm nothing short of impressed and completely honored to be a part of it.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... traveling to Ghana, seeing the efforts in effect first-hand.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... kind, considerate committed and completely knowledgeable. It's amazing how rare that can be in a non-profit.
Ways to make it better!
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... continuing to expand in a way that maintains the direct connection and intimacy with which it works with the schools
MY ROLE: I was a Board Member & Flew to Ghana to hand deliver school supplies and see progress being made at both schools currently being helped.
