CLOUD/GREENHILL AUGUST 20, 2023 <br>The following is regarding recent activities for a lost cat by Greenhill <br> <br> <br>Recently, I was disappointed and actually appalled by GreenHills response regarding the happenings of a cat that was found and brought into GreenHill. <br> <br>I was actually considering donating to GreenHill, however, the method that they used when this cat was brought in seriously concerns me with regard to their methods and actions. <br> <br>A cat was brought in, and Greenhill told the people that they would NOT take the cat and try to find the owners because it “looked healthy and like it had owners.” so, Greenhill released the cat back to the people who found it, who took it over 10 miles from where the cat lives and they released it into the neighborhood. Where it DIDN’T COME FROM. <br> <br>The owners came to Greenhill, looking for their cat and was told what had happened to it. The cat was CHIPPED, BUT GREENHILL DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CHEK IT OUT, WHICH, IF THEY HAD, WOULD HAVE FOUND THE OWNERS IMMEDIATELY AND THE CAT WOULD HAVE GONE HOME. <br> <br>SO, HAD GREENHILL DONE THE PROPER THING, the cat brought in by the people who found it, would have been checked out for a chip, Greenhill would have immediately found the owners and the cat would have been returned home. <br> <br>Now, if Greenhill does not have a chip reader, THEY SHOULD HAVE!!! This is exactly why, those of us who can, get our pets chipped so if they get lost can be found and returned in a quick manner. <br> <br>It is why my cat is chipped. I DIDN’T REALLY HAVE THE BUDGET FOR IT, BUT FELT THAT TO BE A CARING AND RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER, I SHOULD DO IT. <br> <br>To be an animal shelter, and not have the proper tools to return lost animals to their owners is unconscionable, and poor service to the community. <br> <br>To release a pet into strangers care when they have done NOTHING to find the owners is unconscionable and poor service to the community. <br> <br>The very LEAST Greenhill COULD have done would be to take the cat and keep it for a few days until the owners would have come in looking for it. Checked to see if there was a chip that would lead them to the owners. <br>But they DID NOTHING. <br> <br>THIS POOR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY IS WHY I WILL NEVER SUPPORT GREENHILL. THEY ARE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON PET CARE AND RESPONSIBILITY. <br> <br>THIS LETTER WILL GO OUT TO THE COMMUNITY SHOWING THE POOR JUDGEMENT AND ACTIONS ON BEHALF OF ANIMALS IN THE LANE COUNTY AREA, AND HOPEFULLY BRING ACTION REGARDING GREENHILL’S POLICIES AND BEHAVIOR. <br> <br>I only recently had reason to visit Greenhill, and thought their methods to be fairly organized regarding pet adoption. But their methods regarding lost pets is appalling and severely lacking in responsibility and proper actions. <br> <br>SHAME ON GREENHILL FOR SUCH A TERRIBLE POLICY AND LACK OF COMPASSION AND RESPONSIBILITY TOWARD PETS AND THEIR OWNERS. <br> <br>

I have been working with the National Crittenton Foundation for five years. I have partnered with many national non profit organizations over the years and I can truly say this is one of the most thoughtful, impactful, and genuine voices for children and youth that I've ever had the honor of knowing. The most impressive thing about Crittenton is how they listen to the voices of girls and young women to inform their advocacy. They truly have the needs, experiences, challenges, and successes of the individual girls front and center in their work. <br> <br>The collective voice of the local Crittenton agencies is making a difference in ensuring that girls and young women who are victims of abuse, neglect and sexual violence get the right help at the right place at the right time. They have changed the way I look at the world for the better and given me new hope about the incredible strength and resilience of survivors.

As an ordained minister, I had many options for pursuing a chaplaincy program, and I am deeply grateful that I chose the Chaplaincy Institute. The variety of classes, the interfaith perspective, and the stellar faculty have made my experience, thus far, extraordinary. There is a depth to every class that has managed to capture my interest and expand my skillset and knowledge base. The added bonus is getting to know other students who are on a similar path. We meet every other week with our cohort and there is so much love and support, as well as deep dialogue and sharing. Everyone is authentic, loving, and supportive. Lastly, I want to add that the availability of the staff is phenomenal; everyone from the Dean, my academic advisor, the Community Minister, and the Administrative Specialist all work together to create an atmosphere that is conducive to our learning experience and success.

I say let it die let it die let it shrivel up and crumble

The IWRC has been an indispensable part of the work I've done within wildlife rehabilitation - whether for networking with other people in the field, expanding my vision of wildlife rehabilitation or supporting me with educational materials and courses. The team has been extremely welcoming and is always open to new ideas to move the profession forward.

I received a horrible email response when I declined signing one of their campaigns. The staff EQ level appears to be around 13 years old. I unsubscribed from further email communications.

blueEnergy is a fantastic organization that makes the most out of its limited resources. Nothing is wasted and operations run efficiently and effectively. More importantly, they are committed to employing local citizens which makes for and excellent cultural exchange. It also builds local capacity to solve problems so that impact can last even after volunteers leave.

The Relief Nursery provides invaluable guidance and support for families in crisis and is making a real difference in the community by focusing on families and helping them find safety sand stability by providing them with the tools and resources to be functional families.<br>

Just had a great exchange with C.M. who was representing the United States Mission. I almost turned this guy away, but I decided to give him a listen. He showed me all the city and state permits to go door-to-door collecting donations and I was shocked. I can't tell you the last time I gave someone money that came to my door. Everything is such a racket nowadays. THIS IS TOTALLY LEGIT. He even provided me with a donation receipt. If you encounter people from this organization, PLEASE DON'T TURN THEM AWAY BEFORE YOU HEAR WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY. Better yet, donate if you can.

I used to be a kid that couldn't even step foot outside my bedroom door, but then i found Wellsprings. For the first time i could go to a school where people knew what i was going through and more than that, knew how to deal with it. If not for Wellsprings i never would've finished my education. Yet now i stand proud with a high school diploma and have even gone on to become part of the Wellsprings board of trustees.

The Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) was a tremendous help to my father and our family during his seven year battle with the disease. They provided invaluable resources as well as a caring community of staff, volunteers and fellow patients to provide support and offer a wealth of knowledge. Even after his death, the KCA has kept in contact with our family. We are grateful for all they have done and will continue to do for patients and their families.

I served on the Arts Center Board in Corvallis from 1987 to 1996. I know that the paid employees and volunteers go above and beyond expectations in helping bring art to our community and state. The Arts Center is chronically underfunded and yet produces amazing exhibits, teaching opportunities and other arts related activities.

My brother, Richard, lived at Appaloosa house in Salem for at least 15 years. Some of the staff has changed over the years but we and he were blessed to have many long term people there. He passed on April 9th and it is still sad. I cannot express my and my family’s appreciation enough for the care he received. We, as a family have always been very involved as much as we could. We appreciate the many adventures provided by the staff and organization. We did have a celebration of life for his Albertina family the roommates too. They suffered his loss as much as we have. In Dec. 2017 my wife went to the emergency room with back /shoulder pain and numbness in her left arm.<br>After the EKC was good then diagnosed with a mussel cramp in her shoulder blade. The next day went to<br>our regular doctor and was e-rayed and found a herniated disc in her neck. Then when the bill came we were<br>charged for an IV and solutions that we didn't receive. They were not willing to help out with taking any<br>of those items off the bill. I'm not going back there. Don Lovett

I met Dr. Kinari Webb in 2005 when Health In Harmony (HIH) was yet a dream of possibility and have been a financial supporter since HIH’s inception. I have seen consistently excellent stewardship of the resources given to this organization – not just “treasures” received but time and talent donated as well. Additionally, the partnership between HIH and their Indonesian partner, ASRI, is a model of mutually supportive interdependence, international partnership at its best. The “radical listening” that has been done in the communities they serve has resulted in meaningful and sustainable change that benefits not just those whose needs are directly met but all of us who live on this planet as well. I have personally spent time there in 2014 and 2016 so am also speaking from in-person, on-site experience. If you are looking to contribute to accountable, meaningful work then I encourage you to support Health In Harmony.

It's a wonderful organization. Has helped my son, my niece and my husband's adoptive little brother. I always try to give back for how much help they have given us. Really wish they would have a lot more places like this around.

Needing services from a dv agency is a personal thing. My story is too personal to tell on here but if you need help... I would recommend Shelter From the Storm.

Keizer United helped get the Keizer Youth Peer Court started in 2004. The organization has continued to support the program over the years helping bring in funds and advocating for the program. They have been a great support. <br>Keizer Youth Peer Court is a juvenile justice program for youth offenders between the ages of 12-17 whom have received a citation by law enforcement. The program hold youth accountable for their actions in a Peer to Peer process.

5 star World Wheelchair Sports is an amazing organization and group of people that have a passion for athletes at all levels! I would recommend and support this organization to anyone who is looking be a part of world class organization! Touched our family in so many ways and there's not enough lifetime to repay them for what they gave to our family and son Brandon! <br>Joy-Dennis Caswell

A great group of thespians who put on plays throughout the year. Some fabulous productions over the years.

This group of volunteers is a highly respected organization that is keeping the county alive with their research library, the historical house that's on their property, weekly article in the local newspaper, and other interesting gatherings throughout the year. The museum and office are open several days a week for research of items that have happened in the country of Josephine. And, a great group of volunteers keeps this society moving and offering assistance to any and all.

From top to bottom all are corrupt and milking the system. Incompetent and arrogant executives from president to dean of graduate programs, specially the pharmacy program.

As first a long time donor, and then to join the board, I continue to be inspired by this amazing organization. The good work that they do, the tremendous financial oversight and responsibility which display, and the energy and ambition of the staff and the board is incredible. Our partner agencies accomplish so much good for so many people in our community.

I am a leadership student at McNary High School , i am looking for a non profit organization in Salem Keizer and when i ran across the Salem Keizer youth drug alcohol awareness inc. i was going to use it for my non profit organization , but there was absolutely no way possible to contact this inc. because there was no address or contact information at all. it would have been alot more helpful if they provided this information.
