I have been a member of Paws For Friendship Inc. since 2013. The director, along with the members share their pets, spreading love and comfort wherever they go. Paws Celebrated 31 years in 2024 and is the best there is. I cannot stress enough how wonderful Paws is and encourage those with pets to consider becoming a member, no special training is needed. My Angel with Paws was just fantastic. In 2019 I was introduced to them through a fellow co-worker who had received their Service Animal through them. I meet with them and could not have been more impressed with their staff. Upon meeting with our Service animal, I immediately knew he was the one for me as he immediately took to me as if he had known me his entire life. He sat at my feet and laid his head in my lap giving me the peace of mind I was looking for. After having several meetings and a few visits to our home I had my new best friend. I cannot thank them enough; it is a shame that they were forced to close their doors when Covid hit. I can only hope that one day they will reopen and continue to provide the much-needed services they provided to others.

Thankful for Vintage Paws Sanctuary. It is a wonderful, much needed place for senior pets needing homes with loving, caring volunteers.

A no-kill shelter for every kind of cat! Even the sick, the blind and the crippled, no kitty is turned away. Every cat is given a name and 24 hours a day of love and care. Rick and Chrissy live for their shelter cats, literally, all day every day. It's truly a house of love.

This "Charity" is run by a pilot who has lied about his past, has felonies and is currently under investigation by the Florida Department of Agriculture. Ask the charity a question on their Facebook page and you are blocked from seeing the page again. <br><br>The organizations license has been cancelled and they are still soliciting funds. When I was in need of a loaner chair for Lego, this organization had a chair sent out to me in no time!!! I can’t thank them enough.

Did you know the saying, You Get What You Pay For? This is exactly what they meant.<br>They never answer their phone. They never answer their email. Urgent emails go left without replies. You have to go in person and wait to make an appointment with the veterinarian you saw already because she can't do that online, you're lucky if you get a response at all. If you get a prescription they don't fill it out properly and you can't get it filled. They don't answer their phone from the pharmacy they don't answer their emails regarding it.<br>Nobody take responsibility. I guess they think that we're lucky we're getting a discount but when it comes to the health of something is it really that we're lucky?<br>I go there only because I cannot afford the cost of a regular veterinarian but, I will tell you it's a very sad situation because it's a dog/cat Mill.<br>I don't care how great of an experience you might have one or two times, the bad experiences are due and they will show up.

Being a volunteer with this non profit has given me not just experience with many different animals, but also a chance to connect with each individual resident and come to love them all! Amazing work gets done here by a team of devoted humans who love these animals more than themselves. I have a great time every day I'm at the rescue and encourage everyone to give them a visit!

Our company donates to this non-profit each year. They do very valuable work that saves not only a vets life and a dogs too. They are financial sound and good stewards for their resources. Highly recommend them as a wonderfully run and worthy cause.

Helping Paws has made a huge difference in the lives of hundreds of kitties who had nowhere else to go. <br>They often take on special needs cats from the local shelters (which are overflowing). <br>Marnie, the founder of Helping Paws, goes above and beyond to make sure kitties in her care receive proper medical attention, even when more expensive medical care is needed. <br>I adopted a special needs cat from Helping Paws who has been a blessing to our family. <br>Rescue is hard. I am a volunteer and a member of The Board of Directors of Paws 4 You Rescue. The individuals who volunteer (we are all volunteers) are the most dedicated group to be found anywhere. The dogs are loved and nurtured, and none are left behind! Our following is extensive, and many families return to us to adopt dogs as siblings for their previous adoptees, or refer friends and family to us for guidance when selecting a new furry family member.

I have had an association with Angel Paws for 7 years, and have been on the board (secretary/treasurer) for three. I am constantly amazed at the loving capacity of all our volunteers and how much they (and the board) care about animals, not to mention how much we all are willing to do to help our furry friends. <br>We are a grassroots organization, and no one in it is paid. We are all volunteers, who care enough to give of our time and sometimes our assets. <br>A recent example: We had a cat who was diagnosed with distemper. Instead of euthanizing all the exposed cats, we chose to follow the Koret School of Shelter Medicine (UC Davis) protocols on Panlukepenia outbreaks. We pulled them from the adoption center, and thoroughly disinfected the center twice. We then put the cats in an isolation room at another location for 2 weeks. They had to be visited twice daily, and being in their room required following clean room procedures: changing out of our street clothes, putting on gowns, gloves, caps, and booties, then cleaning the cages with a bleach water solution, feeding, watering, spending some time with each, and then sweeping and mopping the floor. We did it gladly, and all contributed. <br>

Donated in honor of Jimmy Williams, West Palm Beach, who died peacefully on May 10. 2021. Jimmy loved animals but had a special kinship with his dogs. Upon his death, I am fairly certain he headed straight for rainbow bridge to continue to love on all animal angels. I chose this organization because of its dedication to senior animals who have so much love to give.

My first experience with paws was with my cat that was really in serious trouble and they did a fantastic job the surgery would have cost me $1200 at the vet but instead it only cost me 250 <br>My next experience was with our dog also needed surgery cost 200 and was is going to cost over 1000 I strongly support and recommend them<br>

Safe Paws Rescue Inc is an outstanding organization. It helps the people who find themselves in difficult situations. They have helped pay veterinary bills, provide food, provide temporary shelter and when all else fails, take in animals. It is a multifaceted solution animal rescue. I have been so impressed with this organization, I have become a monthly donor. When I had an unexpected veterinary bill, they helped me. Now I am giving back. Safe Paws Rescue is a small foster based organization doing great things for the community.

I asked to see a dog for service training assessment and I was asked to fill out an application. There is no point in filling out an adoption application if the dog’s behavior doesn’t suit for service training. I asked Stefanie to please respect my privacy and she refused. I suggest I could do an application once I got to the facility and she refused. This is not how you do business.

For The Love Of Paws was established in 2014 in Memory of Jessica Pankiewicz whose love of animal knew no bounds, and unfortunately passed away at age 32 on January 13th 2013 from complication of an auto immune disease called "Devic's.<br>For The Love Of Paws provides peace of mind to senior citizens when placed into Hospice, Memory Care, Nursing or rehab and have no one to care for their beloved pet.<br>We have since expanded into a Paws Meals On Wheels Program, Precious Paws Veterinary Care, Fur Real Pet Companion Program and a Free Spay and Neuter Program for Seniors, Veterans and low income families with pets.

Such a great and caring group of volunteers. This all volunteer all animal foster based rescue and rehab helps unwanted and abandoned pet and farm animals, trains service dogs, and works with veterans for animal assisted volunteer activities.

Battle Buddies Florida has helped several first responders with PTSD. They are one of the few organizations that are 100% volunteer driven. Not one board member makes any money !

FPAR helped so much during a sad time. We needed someone we could trust with a much loved older dog who was about to be given up by his elderly owner. They were kind and caring not only to the pet but to us when were feeling overwhelmed by the situation and did not know where to turn.

We were originally drawn to this rescue group because they were named as the Best Place to Adopt a Pet in Broward County last year. We met with their director and she gave us all the time and attention we required to make a great choice to join our family. They truly were the best.

I reached out to this organization yesterday thinking this could be exactly what I need. I'm currently in need of a temporary foster for a few months while I try to get out of my lease to move to a new place that allows pets. After my divorce I lost everything and I was homeless for over a year while my kids and their dog lived with my ex husband. After getting back on my feet my daughter was able to come live with me but the place I can afford does not allow pets. Recently, my ex husband has abandoned our dog and I have done everything possible to keep the dog as she has been a member of our family for 11 years. I am out of options and thought I was lucky that I found this organization. When I explained my situation via e-mail the response I got was unhelpful and blatantly judgemental of my situation. The woman who emailed me back said "How did the dog end up with your husband anyway, and not with you and your daughters if you and they were that close with the dog." And "A lot of very bad decision making here and the poor dog and kids are stuck in the middle." She also concluded her e-mail after offering no help with "I'm not a social worker." I came to this organization for help as a last resort. I do not need a social worker or advice on anything but what I can do with my dog. I am appalled at the way this organization treats people who are in need of help. I feel hopeless as I do not want to give up our beloved pet to a shelter.
