World of Children Award improves the lives of vulnerable children by funding and elevating the most effective changemakers for children worldwide. Since 1998, we have given cash grants to Honorees who work on the ground running sustainable program for children. All of our Honorees have a track record for success and work for little or no pay. Many are risking their lives to help vulnerable children. Our Awards are bestowed only on those individuals with the highest performance standards. An international investigative agency leads an on-site investigation and independent audit of each final nominee. We set the gold standard in child advocacy. Our Board of Governors funds all overhead costs so your support will directly benefit the children our Honorees serve.
Over the past 18 years, we have provided more than $7 million to fund the vital work of more than 100 individuals serving children in over 140 countries around the world.
Geographic areas served:
humanitarian, medical care, education and children's rights.

Reviews for World of Children Award
World of Children is been an important lighthouse for us. Since we start our constant conversations with them, we have witness its great committment towards children all around the world. In our particular case, we have had the oportunity to showcase out important social work in Cartagena, Colombia. Our President was honored with the Humanitarian Award no long ago, this recognigtion has given a important status among donors and volunteers. Our support is a neverending job, and we acknowledge the support of world of children in this journey.
I have spent most of my 30-year career working with disadvantaged children, helping them improve their self-esteem and self-confidence through the use of art as therapy. Watching their transformation has been heartwarming and extremely gratifying. The World of Children Award is a nonprofit that works tirelessly to improve the lives of vulnerable children around the globe, providing funding, mentoring and support to those who are actively engaged in making a positive impact in children's lives. There is no other organization that goes to such great lengths to ensure the well-being of vulnerable children. My son recently was named a Youth Honoree and the support the World of Children Award has given him, both financially and with mentoring, has helped him expand his programs and reach, ultimately improving the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children. It is an honor for him to be affiliated with the World of Children.
World of Children Award simply stated is excellence! The mission is clear from the top of the organization (the founders) through the employees and volunteers. The professionalism, transparency, and difference this organization is making is a great example to non-profits all over the world. These people LOVE children and truly care about the life of each. Some companies add a little extra comfort to the lives of children...World of Children changes the lives of children. Their model of encouraging youth to help fellow youth is an impeccable program. This organization is truly amazing!
We've worked with World of Children on some web development projects and have always found them to be highly focused on the mission, even in the seemingly mundane details of the typical project life cycle. These folks seem to be driven by purpose and not by just getting a paycheck, and that is always a great quality in an organization.

I have known about and been supportive of the World of Children for many years now. In my experience as a former philanthropy advisor I have found their work to be professional, efficient and highly impactful. Their due diligence process is peerless and unrivaled; thusly the level of trust and confidence they inspire in their donors is worthy of a Harvard or Stanford case study. There is no other organization quite like this one. The awards are meaningful and catalytic. Harry and Kay are an inspiration.
