I have been donating to World Concern for three years now and I do not have one regret with choosing them for my donations. They have one of the highest amounts money going where it should be--to the people. I believe it is 93.5% of all donations go to help the people, the rest goes to administration and fundraising. They are about creating viable jobs for people struggling to live and they help people, then further that by going back to those people to buy supplies to help another family in the same area. I love this program and am so glad that I found it. I plan on donating every year to this program. Love it!

I like to personally check out an organization before contributing - and since I live near the WCDO headquarters and have seen firsthand how hard they work to limit overhead and maximize the amount of funds getting out to clients around the world - this is an eyewitness vote of confidence in them. When visiting in Africa I spent time at their regional headquarters and met staff from around the world that work for the organization. Several friends of mine are in the field working for WCDO and I have been impressed by the cultural sensitivity they bring to their work, and their amazing energy. WCDO has had staff in Haiti for many years and can "put to work" the money you donate, and do so today.
