Working for workforce central Florida was an amazing experience. the way that they checked up on us and fave us wonderful opportunities to be around successful adults made me feel like i want to work hard so that one day i may be as successful.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

interning with them

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the fact that they care about the up coming generation

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

friendly, independent, successful, educated adults

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

give more jobs to the younger generation(16-24), and make their program last longer

Ways to make it better...

it was longer. i lovedwhat they did, and i never wanted it to work

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

Workforce Central Florida provided 5 workers for our Youth Centers. Their help was invaluable. The Workforce staff were very helpful and professional. The workers they provided were willing to learn and were great assets to the Youth Centers. I hope we have the same opportunity to work with them again this year.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

working with staff ages 16 to 24. We were able to hire one of the workers after this programwith Workforce ended.

Workforce Central Florida has developed a great program with the Remployment Intiative. We have participated in the Young Adult Program and twice in the Adult Program. We found 3 very valuable employees that we hired after the program was finished. We look forward to participating in the program in the future. All staff have been very helpful and professional. Thanks again!

We were able to take advantage of the WCF mobile unit to train our employees on the new version of Microsoft Office 2007. This training greatly reduced the learning curve for many of our employees and helped to make the transition to MS Office 2007 much smoother. We were glad to have this resource available to us for no cost.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all very friendly and willing to help.

Workforce of Central Florida is really a great place. During the summer of '09, I was bored with nothing to do and needed money. WCF put a together a summer program for teens like me. It was a great experience for us. We were able to stay off the street, make money and learn new skills also. I really hope that they do it for us this year in the year 2010.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make more programs for teens to make money.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very nice and understanding.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

open more doors for teens 16-24 yrs old.

Getting hurt on the job and being treated like a dog was my experience three months into the job site. The workforce people that I'd associated with were very unprofessional and should all... never mind. After being hurt and treated at the urgent care clinic I was told that I no longer had a place with Workforce central Florida and had to self terminate my program. I still bare three scars on my body from being rammed by person operating a forklift and then was thrown off the work site later that day. There is more misery to the tale that never got heard or justice served.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

fire all you people for placing me on a job site that abuses there student interns as free labor instead of human individuals.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

it wasn't non profit i got paid

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

assholes

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

well it did just used it in the wrong way. President Obama gave the organization millions of dollars to hire myself to "learn the ways of industry"

Ways to make it better...

I didn't get rammed by a forklift and bare several scars on my right arm.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

too much bullshit

One thing I'd also say is that...

that it was a complete waste of my time and energy.

Enterprise Florida Inc., participated in the Workforce Central Florida Summer Job Connection 2009 prgram. We attended a half-day orientation session where the program is reviewed and expectations are set. We came prepared with specific job descriptions for each opening and were able to interview candidates for our 5 job openings. We provided orientation for our interns and set very clear expectations. Each intern was assigned a supervisor. The interns also met with the HR Director on a weekly basis. We mentored and coached them to success. Our interns were professional and truly added value. They enhanced our lives and we are truly thankful for the experience.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The professional application of the Summer Job Connection. The staff at Workforce are responsive and truly care about the success of the program.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Continue on with additional job programs and training in order to develop the workforce of Central Florida.
