I receive a lot of positive "food for the soul" by reading their inspirational newsletter every week. I attended a workshop they sponsored in NYC and the room was packed. Before the workshop started I listened to fellow participants talk about previsous Woodhull retreats and I got to meet the ED and other staff and it just is such a great organization - a warm community that I hope to become a part of.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

networking and meeting some wonderful people

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

have to get to know them better to answer this substantively. I have 20 years experience with non-profits and groups that work for women's empowerment and they seem really great and look fwd to getting more involved.

Woodhull Institute is safe, nurturing and encouraging environment. You truly do feel supported and that helps open up the door to your potential and motivates you to pursue. It would be much harder to embark on pushing the envelope of your comfort zone without this feeling of well-being. Furthermore the awareness that your dealings with Woodhull do not end with the end of your retreat, strengthens this sense of security. The work Woodhull is doing in their outreach and empowerment of women is fantastic, particularly because of how personal and truly intimate Woodhull feels, although they are a decently sized organization. They truly do open your eyes to your inner potential, help you channel it into your life, and make you aware that you can control the outcomes in your life. It helps to know that you are supported one hundred percent through this process. Everything about Woodhull makes it a wonderful enterprise particularly for college women who truly do need the kind of support that the organization has to offer. Life is what you make it especially when you are strengthened by the network of successful women who stand behind you.

Thanks to the Woodhull Institute I have much more confidence in myself and the world around me. Woodhull gives women a sense of personal support and caring that few other organizations are able to achieve.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the sense of community.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

some of the best people that I have ever encountered. Very caring and outgoing people, each making a contribution to the world.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

really reach out to more women and do massive mounts of good in the world.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
