Women’s eNews establishes news support for all aspects of women’s daily lives. Whether readers are interested in health, media, labor, justice, culture and more, Women’s eNews provides a service for women to remain informed. As a coworker at a nonprofit where entrepreneurs, investors, corporate officials, sector experts and service providers meet to build great women-led business together, I can appreciate how Women’s eNews educates and connects women with each other through the media.

As a reader and writer, I rely on womensenews to teach me something I would otherwise not know. I also rely on womensenews as an outlet for articles I want to write. Because the editors care deeply about women and girls, topics that get short shrift in other publications and websites can find a home here. It's invaluable

Women's eNews has been my go-to news agency to find accurate, informative, out-of-the-norm news about women. I love the Cheers and Jeers and the opinions. Best of all, I can easily find the information I am seeking. Keep up the good work.

Many of my listeners ask me about where I get the news that I report on my radio program. Though I use multiple sources, the main one is Women's eNews. Even if I do not use an article, it helps shape my POV and perspective.

I came across Women’s eNews mid-November. As if by divine intervention, I was face to face with a small non-profit organization dedicated to improving the media image of women through digital journalism. The daily stories covered by Women’s eNews are those that are often neglected in “big media” because they do not cater to an "interesting" demographic. Along with feminist driven issues, everyday stories are taken and given new perspective, illustrating its affect on women. Along with spreading the message through their website Women’s eNews hosts numerous events to help create awareness of both women’s struggles and accomplishments. Book signings, movie screening, history walks and information session are among the countless events hosted. Perhaps the most prominent and important event is the annual 21 Leaders for the 21st Century Gala each May. This gala honors twenty women and one man who have made a positive impact on the lives of women. This year was my first in attendance and I have never before felt so much energy and power in a room full of driven and accomplished individuals. Working with Women's eNews has been invaluable to me.It is rare to come across a group that, while small, is so motivated and dedicate to their cause. This organization has made leaps and bounds in the world of media shedding light on true issues and branching out into other countries and languages. Women's eNews has left no rock unturned when it comes to spreading their message and awareness as they continue to broadcast the word loud and clear.

I could not be more thankful that my path crossed with Women's eNews. After attending an International Women’s Day luncheon held in their office and getting acquainted with the editor-in-chief, Rita Henley Jensen, I was offered an internship position that I could not pass up. I shared with Rita that I had been struggling for years trying to transition into the non-profit sector and a week later, I received an email asking that I come into the office to discuss an internship opportunity. Not only have I always wanted to work for a non-profit organization, but I have always had a passion for women's issues and for being a part of a community that gives women the voices they deserve. Well, Women's eNews does exactly that! Its dedication to international, as well as domestic coverage, of stories is impressive and enlightening. Coming from a Middle-Eastern and Muslim background, I appreciate the work that Women's eNews does internationally and the way in which it covers issues and stories that would otherwise go unheard. It has been an invaluable work experience to witness this organization's unique ability to bring together women from all different backgrounds, industries, and cultures to unite their forces and join together in the cause of celebrating and empowering women worldwide.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the events that are held such as luncheons and galas as well as art exhibits that we've hosted in our space. I see the coming together of remarkable women and the determination they have to make women's lives better everyday.

Since discovering Women's eNews this past January, my horizons have been expanded. I am so more in tune with the world and the problems facing women today. The articles are so refreshing because they don't tackle the same old stories; they reach out and take hold of your heart and your mind. I now care about issues such as maternal mortality; issues that I knew little about before coming to Women's eNews. Women's eNews also shows great class in the management and success of their events such as the 21 Trailblazers Luncheon and 21 Leaders Gala.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

increased readership and social networking about women's issues.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the camraderie between staff and the opportunities given to volunteers.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

passionate and smart women looking to make a difference in the world.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save women all over the globe, and get a regualr staff of writers.
