Women's enews provides quality in-depth stories about women and the issues most dear to us. I regularly refer my college classes to the news site to explore stories related to our corse material. I also like my students to see examples of excellent writing from a feminist perspective. Students learn from women's enews how to perform a critical analysis of an issue keeping women and girls at the center of the story as is so rarely done in other media. I had the pleasure of taking two classes to New York and the editor, Rita Jensen, was so generous with the time she spent with the classes discussing the inner workings of a non-profit and how to get involved with social justice for a career. What an inspiring leader!

Women's eNews is an excellent source of up to date information on a wide range of issues affecting women such as human rights, sustainable development and social development. I check it constantly for research purposes.

Women's ENews was the first publication to pay me a decent wage for my writing. At a time when most publications, even reputed national ones, were shameless in asking writers to write for free, or for "prestige," my editors at Women's ENews paid me a competitive rate that encouraged me to report and write about subjects that were important. The editing was superlative. By nurturing writers and collaborating with them, Women's Enews is setting high standards for journalism.

I would take away the advertising on their website which is distracting.

Women's eNews is a constant source of inspiration and action to me. The protection of women and children has been a concern in my family for 5 generations, and we are moved to act. Women's eNews is one of the few things in the world that gets me to get my wallet out and put my money where my mouth is. Their reporting on international problems concerning women and children is superb, timely and, especially important, always gives us a cue to action. Now, more than ever, those of us who deeply care about women and children's welfare have to do more than "tsk, tsk" and Women's eNews helps us take a moment from a crazy-busy profession and make a personal difference. Thank goodness for this excellent source of news and inspiration. It touches me every day.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Activate more women who care to step up and donate to causes that are personal to them. They do an awesome job, but not all of us can stop what we're doing and run out to volunteer. But we can throw money at it. That should continue to be their tag-line. We need to find more media outlets to get the message out. Not everybody is computer-literate

Women's eNews is an incredibly important resource. It is so refreshing to hear WOMEN'S perspectives on various issues since the issues and/or the perspectives of women, especially with regard to how to empower women globally, are so rarely heard in mainstream media. I'm especially excited about the new focus on issues of importance to girls' and the plan to publish girls' writing. Go Rita and team!!!

I give money to womens enews because its work is a vital outlet for reporting on issues that are too often missing from mainstream media. I also love that they have a strong presence in the Arab world, for reporting by and about women in that region. Information is key in helping women connect and see alternatives to patterns that hold women back.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

suggest that they work to get their reporters included as experts and commentators on cable news, which is always looking for new voices.

Women's eNews publishes powerful stories and commentary about women's issues around the world that are often not covered in other news media. I especially like the new Teen Voices section which features article by and about young women. Thank you!

As a researcher, author and lawyer, I count on Womens eNews DAILY over all the other news sources in the world. I don't know how they do it! Please never stop! Maureen Fitzgerald, Canada
