I was in the WOMEN OF TOMORROW organization for 4 years. No other club or organization has been as influencing as this. Througout the 4 years we learned so much. Sometime we would collect items for children or mothers in need. We leanred how to write resumes and how to go on an interview and dress professional. We also went on many field trips and gained knowledge about different organizations and places. Women of Tomorrow also gave me a scholarship for the nursing program in Miami Dade College. All the oraganized events were great. Our mentors were always there to help us and teach us new things. I would advise all the women to join this organization. I loved it.

I passed 3 interviews after I learned how to do well from Women of Tomorrow. I also recieved a scholarship for nursing school.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I dont think I would make an changes. Maybe we should have the opportunity to meet more mentors and learn new things.

Young adulthood can be difficult for many girls striving to succeed against all odds. As a volunteer in the Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship program, I have been given wondrous opportunities to meet and gain a relationship with brilliant and confident women that help to empower at-risk young women. The members of this program are highly dedicated, motivated, and committed to us young women. Similar to a family, they are open to give real experiences and advice about important topics that affect numerous young women such as career choices, tough decisions, insecurities, goals, dreams, school, etc.
This program has personally altered my personal career goals and desires to strive for the “best of the best.” The program has provided me with a strong foundation to become a highly accomplished woman dedicated to intelligence and success. They enable us to speak about our personal feelings and thoughts in order to become a well-rounded individual. This program and their members have facilitated the development of my goals and dreams and I am highly appreciative of their efforts. I continue to motivate other young intelligent women to gain the experiences and opportunities that I was privileged to receive.

Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship program has broadened my horizons as an intelligent young women. They have facilitated my goals and enabled me to gain self-confidence and purse my career to the fullest. In addition, the friendships and bonds created during my time in the program have continued on till this day and offer plenty of support for each other. This program provides a strong feeling of belonging and confidence.

If I had to make any change to this organization, I would allow enable there to be more opportunities to meet the mentors. I believe they have had a huge impact on me as a person and continue to influence my personal career goals and actions. I am highly appreciative of everything they have done and offered us young women!

My daughter has been a member of Women of Tomorrow for two years. This program brings her real stories of real women that inspire and motivate her. Because of this program, she is learning more and more ways that women in our area are successful in their own right. This is helping to open her eyes to the world of possibilities. Thank you WOT!

hold some meetings outside of school so the girls would have more time with the women that are brought in.
