I have been on trips and site visits and work with the organization on an on-going basis. The members of the organization are all professional, dedicated people who share their skills, time, and resources on a completely volunteer basis. Besides the many lives that we have been enhanced, I am proud that we have also reached out to other organizations and multiplied our efforts through cooperation and collaboration. I feel that my life has been changed for the better through participating in this very worthwhile work.

I've been the grateful witness of the amazing dedication of the surgical, medical and support teams of Women for World Health. They don't just DREAM, they COMMIT and DO. And the lives of hundreds have been improved as a result. My mission role was administrative so I functioned on the sidelines. While the immediate value, worth, and importance of the patient medical procedures were obvious, I found myself focusing more on the families and wondering how their lives would be changed. Did a sibling decide to become a better student in order to go to medical school? Was a parent’s faith in humanity restored? Were whole communities energized by presence of Women for World Health? The answers are surely Yes, Yes, and Yes. My conclusion is Empowerment begets Empowerment and that’s the “sideline” gift of this work. It was an honor and a privilege to participate.

I am a very proud contributor to Women For World Health and am confident that the money I have donated has directly helped women and children all over the world. Furthermore, the services that Women for World Heath provide will change the course of a person's life. Therefore, I see their work, and my donation as a investment in the future.

I am proud to be a contributor to Women for World Health. Having met their hardworking staff, I can say that my money is in the hands of people who will use it to change the world. This organization uses 99% to give back to the cause, which is more than most organizations.

Having been on one of the trips of Women for World Health, I can easily say that this charity has some of the most down to earth, hardworking, and compassionate people, whose efforts show the empathetic nature that defines W4WH. The team works for endless hours a day, each person helping the organization with a unique set of skills. This teamwork and work ethic reflects their true desire to change the world, one patient at at time.

Women for World Health is a fabulous foundation doing the work of angels they are bringing health to those who need it who can not afford it or find a doctor in there area. They do endless hours of work donating there hart and sole. Ninety percent of the money they raise goes towards there work. This is what they say but I think they give more then that. There harts and souls are into what they do. Helping others.

Working with Women for World Health was an extremely insightful and rewarding experience. The selflessness and dedication of each team member was apparent through their work and attention to each and every patient (we served over 999 patients!). Women For World Health is truly making a difference by reaching out to patients in remote parts of the world and catering to the specific needs of each community.

Women for World Health has been asked to provide medical care to the poor in South America, Central America, Asia, Africa & Haiti. We change the lives of our patients. We make children whole by correcting birth defects with plastic surgery. We restore sight to people blinded by cataracts. We enhance hearing by treating chronic ear infections. Our patients do not have access to medical care, clean water nor computers. Although they can't write a review for Women for World Health, their smiles of thanks and hugs of gratitude translate into 5-stars in any language.

I have been on missions with W4WH and have seen the lives of our patients transformed. I also volunteered on behalf of W4WH at RAM-LA in April-May 2010 where 1200 people a day were treated. I saw gratitude and relief expressed by American patients.

I went on a medical mission to San Marcos, Guatemala with W4WH. We partnered with a local group and saw patients who were without access to regular medical care.

I have been involved with Women for World Health on a small scale at the office. I have helped with power point presentations, photography, editing, computer work, and anything else where help was needed. I have been impressed with the number of lives positively altered by this small group of caring selfless individuals completed on a shoestring budget. The people benefiting from the medical help have been able to live a more normal life opposed to the chance of a life filled with pain, suffering, and even very premature death. My goal is to continue helping as I have and maybe go on a medical missions where I might assist in any way possible.
