I've had occasion to "witness" the timely leadership of a CEO who sought to ensure the equal participation of a host of consumers in a "health planning process", who were not initially "invited to the (discussion) table", but through Witness Justice contacting of and subsequent action by appropriate Congressional leaders, the administrator(s) of these health planning initiatives, made space at the table for previously excluded consumers. Thank You Helga Luest, CEO of Witness Justice! - Robert Olcott, Lebanon, NH

I've seen this organization grow since the beginning. The creative approaches, the focus on gaps experienced by survivors, the emphasis on making life better in the aftermath, the courage to stand up and shed light on where our systems and communities are failing - Witness Justice has done this well and has done a lot with limited resources. There's a reason why this organization has lasted and continues to produce award-winning projects - and that reason is because of the strong leadership and keeping survivors at the center of all of its activities.

The results of Witness Justice are seen in the evaluation of all of its projects. There hasn't been one that was anything short of excellent.

For some time, Helga Luest and Witness Justice have shined a focused and intensive light on the need for this country and elsewhere to address issues of justice for those abused -- emotionally, physically, sexually. The organization has provided creative (The Glass Book Project) and knowledgeable direction and programming to help survivors heal and policymakers understand and address the issues associated with trauma.
