We Spark was there from the beginning and had every intention to stay with me as long as it took. During after and in between I had a friend a phone call or a 10 min. ride away. weSpark is the greatest origination because people came from all places and each had a story to tell that made you feel like you were not in the battle of cancer by yourself. I can go back when ever because now I am part of weSpark for life. It knows where your heart is and keeps you in the real world with your hand held.
I found I had breasst cancer this year and was directd to WeSpark by the breast care coordinator at Kaiser Panorama City. I was very pleased to find the resources there. At my "intake" interview I found a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere in a comfortable, homey setting. I have been to a few Tai Chi classes and have signed up to attend some workshops that are of interest to me. It's nice to have such a lovely, supportive resource nearby.
I Had heard of WeSparks a while back, but unfortunately didn't go to them until my husband died in October. I am so happy that I went they have been an exceptional help to me. The grief group I attend is incredible and I have made many new friends. The support of weSparks well I just cannot sing their praise enough. Thank you very much for being there. I tell everyone about them and their programmes.

At WeSPARK I am able to relax and feel at home. The support system has been strong and consistent in helping me cope with cancer. The array of support groups has topics to fit everyone's needs and I look forward to going there to network, learn, cry and laugh. I love WeSPARK. It is nice to know there is somewhere to go when I start to feel overwhelmed by my cancer. Thank you WeSPARK!
As an individual battling cancer currently, I appreciate the support and services they offer not only to me but my family members as well who as you know face hardships as well.
WeSpark has provided a sanctuary where cancer patients like myself can feel accepted, safe and valued, where we can laugh and cry, hope for the best and prepare for the worst without burdening our loved ones with the gruesome details of this horrible disease. WeSpark has provided my family with first-class services that we couldn't possibly afford on our own. They have also helped two of my close friends successfully battle throat and ear cancers. Every day I thank God for the WeSpark Staff and Donors, as well as the cancer warriors they generously and selflessly help.
weSPARK is a haven away from home. Once you walk through the door you are greeted with smiles and friendly hellos. Alexandra is the receptionist; she sets the calm tone for us with her friendly hello. I usually attend the yoga classes, and have found inner and outer strength. I have made friends with whom I know I will enjoy long relationships.
I am a multiple cancer patient diagnosed with both brest cancer and CLL. The many no charge activities at the WeSpark center in Sherman Oaks has help me get thru many difficult days. I particulary enjoy the Tai Chi Class which has improve my body and mind, I look and feel younger and healthier. Thank you. Kathy.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I also had a tumor in my brain, and throughtout all this weSpark has been the best therapy I could have had to recover from all this. There are many cancer patients and survivors who cannot afford classes and, for me, taking taichi has been a life saver. I love weSpark and I love what they do for people who desperately need help with the emotional and psychological aspect of the illness. Taichi has helped me achieve the inner peace that I needed so badly. I hope we weSpark is around for as long as cancer patients and survivors need it. Thanks to the lady that so wholeheartly runs this institution and also thanks to their staff.
