I was both a client and volunteer. The thing I love about WeSpark is they are all about helping people. They keep their overhead low and all money raised goes to the programs helping people. I was drawn into the family feeling I got there and they great people on the staff. I've worked on the shows and golf tournaments - both have been so much fun!

I've been volunteering at weSPARK for nine years and still feel it's one of the best nonprofits I've been involved with. The programs are innovative, the facility comforting and the staff extraordinarily caring. So many guests have told me that weSPARK saved their lives. There's no greater endorsement. Yay for weSPARK and Wendie Joe's vision.

weSPARK is a special place that I've been fortunate to be associated with for over six years. Through a unique combination of programs, weSPARK provides support for cancer warriors, their family and friends. Our community is richer because of it.

I had the pleasure of working with weSPARK founder, Wendie Jo Sperber, during most of the first decade of the organization. It was a great pleasure to watch her simple vision - that there should be an informal setting for everyone affected by cancer...patients, friends, family...to learn, heal and share - turn into not only a reality but a long lasting one that truly serves the community. The team that has taken on the task of continuing and expanding her legacy is doing great work. Use the services if you need to...volunteer when you can...either way weSPARK will provide you with experiences you will never forget.

The folks at we Spark are dedicated and brilliant at serving their purpose. I have been a supporter financially and participated in some dial-a-thon's to raise money for such a paramount cause. As they continue to grow and help others in fighting their ( TEMPORARY ) battles I will support their Side ;) - James Jordan Jr. ;)

I connected with weSPARK through a friend of mine who is close with the org. Since then i've been volunteering at their fundraising events. The sheer passion their team has for their mission is inspirational. Above and beyond that, the services they provide are SO needed. We all have been effected by cancer of some sort in this day and age. To have a place for both patients and families to find comfort and support through their fight is a true blessing to those that have access! The fact that it's FREE is even MORE AMAZING!

I always enjoy volunteering at a weSPARK event. The staff is friendly and the events are always first rate. This organization is such a community place and it is so touching to see the impact all their services have on the cancer community. Thank you weSPARK for being a great safe place for cancer patients.

weSPARK is a special place and I am so happy I have had the opportunity to volunteer here. They are kind to everyone who uses their services and it's amazing that everything they offer-all the support, the classes, the workshops-are completely FREE. It's great to know a place like weSPARK exists for people with cancer.

weSpark Cancer Support Center provides so much hope and enthusiasm for those affected by cancer or those who have survived cancer or those who are family members of cancer patients. Being a volunteer on several fund raising events and being a part of this outstanding program has made me a much better person and I applaud all that they have done and continue to do to make lives somewhat bearable

I have been an active volunteer with weSPARK for 4 years now and find there services to be unlike anything I have ever witnessed.
They pick up where the medical field leaves them short.. with love and nurturing support, a safe haven in a lonely world of cancer.
I started a fundraiser at Notre Dame High School for weSPARK to have a teen cooking program, in which teens are learning to cook as their parents are too ill to prepare meals during their treatment or recovery.
I still feel like I have done something so meaningful for these kids. And it was months ago.
weSPARK is like having angels on your shoulder.

I have been involved w/weSPARK for about 8 years -- originally taking advantage of the incredibly supportive services offered through this organization. The people that work here are extremely dedicated and committed to continuing the goals of Wendie Jo Sperber, the founder of weSPARK. I am now a volunteer and am gratified by being able to contribute in a "pay it forward" way. The activities offered here at no cost to the "guests" are physically, psychicly and emotionally advantageous to cancer survivors (including those continuing in treatment and post treatment) and and their families and friends. The atmosphere is supportive and upbeat yet recognizing and serving the needs of individuals.

Like to have a larger space and more parking, but recognize that there are often financial limitations as well as convenience of location to meet the needs of an unfortunately growing population.
I am a cancer survivor that was lucky enough to find this terrific organization. Initially I was in support groups, took advantage of many of the ongoing classes offered, and made numerous friends. This is a most caring organization dedicated to making the lives of cancer related patients, their friends and families realize they are not alone and will provide whatever help they can. I now volunteer when needed.
