As a musical theatre librettist and lyricist, I've had the pleasure of seeing my own shows produced at ACT as well as attending other productions. What impresses me about ACT is not only the quality of their productions, but the overall atmosphere. An audience member feels like part of the family. The camaradarie among staff and crew is palpable. It's a great environment for young performers who blossom under the caring direction.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

watching young performers learn their craft.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very welcoming to newcomers and incredibly dedicated to this organization.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Build its own theatre and expand its educational programs for actors of all ages.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When I first came to Yonkers, I had the pleasure of performing with ACT (as Bella in "Lost in Yonkers"!) and was welcomed warmly into the ACT family. Everyone pitched in willingly and was rewarded by the quality production, built on a foundation of dedication, love and talent (both on stage and off). This is the little theatre that could. A gem to be sure. Get involved!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

a wonderful production of "Lost in Yonkers"

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the strong sense of community and professionalism

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated and fun-loving

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

find a better venue

Ways to make it better...

there were more adult shows rather than junior productions

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year
