Far outstanding since there are nearly no other stations that play jazz. This station tells you of local upcoming events and I have gone to many and loved the experiences with Latin Grammy nominees like Ed Calle and Arturo Sandoval. I look forward to more great music and the soothing tone of the hosts!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

annual Latin Festivals, concert halls filled with heart-filled musicians, and the gratitude we have for music in our lives.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the knowledge, fun times, and laughs I've all received and made.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

serious and appreciative.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help kids realize how music can help you in life and expand their listening radius into other counties and possibly have the one goal of getting listeners and expanding their minds to hear the pure sound of jazz.

I have been a fan of the station since '86, they have the most and best Jazz, Latin and Brazilian music in South Florida. I have briefly been a volunteer dj, and as a musician and jazz entrepreneur i have been interviewed several times by on-air hosts such as Mel Lipton and Charlie K, as well as having selections from my Cd's played by several of the dj's. The station is always supportive of local artists and events, and also offers very affordable advertising rates. WDNA is indispensable !

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

getting interviews, radio play, reasonably priced advertising.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

give an attitude adjustment to the station manager- he should do his job behind the scenes, which i assume he does a good job at, and refrain from any public relations, which is not his forte.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their accessibility and desire to help

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

top-notch

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

get a stronger signal

Ways to make it better...

the station had a better signal

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

funding

One thing I'd also say is that...

They provide knowledge of health related issues and make important connections within the community. Did I mention they are great people too? Dedicated lovers of music and the community. Long live WDNA!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting lots of people and their sponsorship of great events.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very dedicated.

Entertaining. Enriching. Valuable. Informative. Let's me know about interesting local events I would not find out about, otherwise. Laid-back, Unpretentious, Honest.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

music, news.

WDNA has been an oasis of musical culture in Miami for many years. I tune in whenever I can to hear music that I would never find anywhere else. Although their terrestrial signal was not always as strong as I wanted - for instance, if I am in my car in another county I can't hear them - their presence on the Web is excellent, and I stream their shows sometimes. I wish there were more radio stations like 88.9 FM Miami!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

...get a more powerful transmitter so that more people could enjoy their incredible programming.
