I volunteered with this wonderful organization in the past (and would like to in future when I have more free time). Everyone helps out and they are a pleasure to work with .. you feel that you are really contributing. The organization has low overhead costs so the money goes directly to supporting those in need.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
knowing one family with kids has a house to live in for at least 90 days.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
that you can see real tangible results. They are very open. The board meetings go over the issues ... opportunities, challenges etc It is small, personable and action based. You can share ideas and input easily and you can see the results.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
wonderful and hard working.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand its services to help more people in need.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
2009
Way Back Inn far exceeds their goals each year by helping homeless children and their families. This program is operated by volunteers and only one staff person. 2009 has been a challenging year with the economic downturn -- less donations -- and many more homeless kids. If you've ever met a homeless child and you want to help them - year round -- this is the best program in Washington State.
