Interesting that all the positive reviews for WWIN on here come from board members and volunteers, none from clients who have been helped by WWIN--or *attempted* to get help from them. I applied for a health care gap grant for a root canal from WWIN. Staff jerked me around for two months, even flat-out lying to me at times. I called a couple of times to ask questions about the application process, and I felt they just made up stuff to say to get me off the phone or to get me to go away. Apparently they just make up rules as they go along to justify their shady dealings with people. In the end, I got no help. Just a waste of my time and a two-month delay in treatment for an active tooth infection. If anyone else has had similar problems with them, please let me know. I'm trained as a paralegal and I will be taking legal action against them.
