This organization is very appreciative of volunteers. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and committed to the cause. Changing the lives of women has the ripple effect of changing the lives of many, particularly their children and their descendants. Donating to WWIN means potentially affecting generations of families.

I'd lived in Washington for over 25 years and never heard of WWIN, but once I did I found that its an amazing organization - very well run and responsible - and one that offers unique assistance to women in Washington for Education and Healthcare. Its rewarding to be able to help these appreciative women each week when I volunteer in the office.

I experience the results of WWIN each week when I volunteer with the Counseling grant and talk to women that are so thrilled to have found the program and to be eligible for the grants. Its great to see them excited about taking their next steps!

Washington Women in Need (also known as WWIN) is a very special organization helping low income women in Washington State. Several things are very special about this organization. They make grants for health care and education, in amounts big enough to really change a woman's life. All the fundraising and admin costs are paid by sponsors so that ALL the money raised at their fundraising events goes for these grants! WWIN has helped OVER 7000 women in Washington State!

I'm not a recipient but have a good friend who was helped by WWIN about 10 years ago after she went through a divorce and needed help funding her education. This type of situation could happen to any one of us, no matter our income level.
