This organization and Maryland Nonprofits have been in a running feud for many years as they compete for suburban members and trainees. So uncooperative and yet they are nonprofits. One example: CNA won't list MD NPs under it local resources directory. And vice versa. Grow up guys! The better solution, merge the two organizations and avoid duplicate overhead. Disappointing too about CNA: they offer virtually no help to projects wanting to become nonprofit corporations. Their services geared for existing groups. So much for innovation or cutting edge utility. Finally, though it is DC and there are many nonprofits here, CNA has become so overlooked or irrelevant that leading nonprofits and funders have instead moved innovative sector programs or projects that would be natural for a CNA-type organization to the Nonprofit Roundtable and other groups. Where is the leadership?
