My son Noel has been attending the camp since day one. The experience he has had at the camp has been unforgettable for him and our family. I was hesitant at first to enroll him, as Noel has behavior issues usually shutting down when he becomes upset or becomes very uncomfortable in new situations, but Noel has excelled our expectations. I am forever grateful to Deena and her amazing staff. This program has given so much to our family. Noel wakes up every single morning excited to go to camp, I've been told that he is a natural born farmer. He has been having the time of his life and has connected with everyone in a very special way. We are very sad that it will be ending this Friday but we will be back next year. Thanks to Warriors for Autism for putting such an amazing program together.

Working with Deena's warriors for Autism summer camp was my first experience working with children on the spectrum. It was a wonderful and inspiring experience to see the campers overcome fears, interact with other campers, and come out of their shells with the horseback riding. These children are amazing and wouldn't have this opportunity with Deena Rivera. She does wonderful things for Tampa families dealing with the disorder. I hope to work with her a lot more in the future!!!

I had the chance to work for Deena and the Warriors For Autism Camp and although my time was brief it was time spent with amazing kids and Deena who is a wonderful woman. I will never forget it and hope to be able to work with Deena again in the not too distant future.

My two girls attended Warriors for Autism horse camp. It was a wonderful experience for both of them! They can't wait to do a second week next month and are already asking to go back next summer. I was apprehensive to send the girls to horse camp. My older daughter is on the spectrum and can require lots of patience/supervision. My younger daughter normally gravitates toward more "girly" activities and was uncertain about going to camp on a farm. This camp was perfect for both of them! Deena and her staff/volunteers are amazing with the children and HorsePower for Kids is such a fun place!

My son attends Warriors For Autism's Horse Camp. It has been our first experience with Deena and WFA. Everyone from the staff to the kids attending are incredible. They are so loving, respectful, and giving. As a parent it warms my heart to know that he is in such capable and amazing hands every day. On day 7 of camp I can already see Jake blossom and grow from this experience. It has been an absolute pleasure and blessing to our family. Thanks to everyone at WFA!!!!

I've seen these Warriors grow from struggling to get through the challenge of raising an Autistic child to being a champion organization for those less fortunate. The Riveras & Warriors for Autism have educated me & my boys & are an awesome example of TRUE warrior spirit. They give wholeheartedly & our community is very lucky to have them among us. I've learned so much over the years & my sons & I enjoy volunteering whenever we can. We are Warriors and will always be here for Anthony and any other families dealing with Autism on a daily basis. Deena & Olando you make me proud. Keep up the great work you do for so many. Way to be AWESOME!

As a personal friend of Deena, I remember when she wrote she found her calling. I saw this woman grow and see with my own eyes the movement she is doing. There are many who are born in this world to make a difference, but a few become memorable and Deena falls in the category of the unforgettable ones. She is truly an amazing woman, warrior, advocate and a figure to be reckoned with. I don't have a child with Autism so I can personally say she is truly putting a capital A in awareness and advocacy.
