I am the caretaker of my disabled mother who has a lot of medical problems including osteoporosis and fibromyalgia making it very difficult for her to get around. I have tried, to no advial, to obtain a power chair for her to improve her quality of life and to increase her mobility. With in a month of contacting the walk on foundation my mother was approved and given a power chair. For the first time in many years she was able to Independably take herself from my home to her's which is across town. It was amazing to see. Thank you SO much for your kindness and generosity!

My daughter was 13 months old when Walk On came to our rescue. My daughter required a special high calorie milk that we could not find ANYWHERE nor afford more than a case or 2 of it. Walk On provided enough for 4 months and it helped my daughter grow and thrive while on it. Without Walk On i'm not sure what we could have done.

As a single mother of 2 children I was devastated when I was denied prescription coverage for medicine I need on a daily basis. Thank God that the Walk On Foundation was able to help me get my medicine and get me on the road to feeling "normal". I can't thank this organization enough for what it did for me.

our multiply handicapped son was in dire need of an enclosed bed to keep him safe at night. The bed that he had was one purchased for him when he was 3 years old, and he had severely outgrown this bed...at the time of need, he was 16 years old and 5' 11. At the time, there was a waiver freeze in our state, so we were looking at at least a 3 yr wait for a new bed...and he could not wait that long. Thank GOD for Walk On Foundation, they not only found a suitable bed for Evan, but were able to arrange for it to be shipped here. Were it not for them, Evan would still be sleeping bow legged or bent in his tiny bed....THANKS to Walk On, our son now can stretch out and sleep comfortably in a beautiful fully enclosed bed . We cannot ever thank them enough for this amazing blessing. When you cannot find a way to get what you need, Walk on and it's amazing "director" Joshua Richard can find a way to make your dream a reality....God Bless you Walk On...we will never forget your blessing to our hom!!!!!

As a survivor of peritoneal cancer and stem cell transplant recipient, I have to travel to Houston, TX frequently for check ups with my doctors at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Joshua Richard mentioned Walk on Foundation to my husband one evening in a sports chat conversation. We had just discovered that day that the assistance with airfare that we had been expecting had fallen through and God opened another door of opportunity in the most unsuspected place. Joshua and Walk on Foundation granted our wish for assistance for roundtrip airfare for my husband and I so that I could continue under the fine care of my doctors at MD Anderson. Thank you Joshua and Walk on Foundation!

What an AMAZING organization. Walk On Foundation got me a pediatric pulse oximeter for my daughter who was suffering from SVT. I was not in a financial situation to do it myself and they came to my rescue. It truly touched my heart that someone who had never met us helped me out to make my life easier in dealing with her illness. They are my Angels :)

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

they provided me a small piece of medical equipment which drastically helped our situation.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

nothing, as i said before they are amazing!

Walk on Foundation helped me get a shower chair when I was unable to stand to get a shower or sit to bathe. I feel blessed just to know that there is an agency out there who will help with our needs when we need them the most. This is a very good organization and I wish that they will be able to continue to operate and help others.
