Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Emergency Assistance, Health, Health Support, Human Services

Mission: Walk On Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We will serve to align resources of individuals and corporations to impact the lives of those in our communities by providing assistance with medical equipment, safety devices and financial assistance related to medical hospitalization. Walk On Foundation aims to achieve this mission by: * Awarding grants to individuals and families whose needs meet our mission. * Educating individuals, communities and businesses of our purpose and the need for our services. * Establishing community projects. * Using the power of social networking in order to provide a better life for those dealing with medical crisis, safety hazards, and hospitalizations. * Working along side other non-profit organizations to assist in tasks that are consistent with our mission.

Results: This year we spent a lot of assisting a local family with over $30,000 in medical expenses, over $6000 for an allergen peanut dog, and over $38000 in mobility devices to Haiti, to name just a few.

Target demographics: person and or persons with medical issues that would otherwise not be assisted.

Geographic areas served: Walk On Foundation focuses locally first, but does provide services all over the United States and even some other countries.

Programs: These are all examples, but your donor dollars are stretched to the max and we have a complete file that shows where donor were given and what they were used for.

My son started this organization, because I have M.S. He works daily trying to raise funds for all those who have medical needs. He does this after major surgerys and while recieving dialisis.
He also has a wife and four kids. He and his few volunteers, plan execute major fundraisers, such as Kids Fashion Show, Pumpkin Roll Sales, Christmas Extravaganza, and much more.
I am very proud of my son.

~~ The Walk on Fashion Show fundraising event, has been one of my favorite events to attend & volunteer for in years past. The kids have a blast, its such a nice day to spend, raising awareness and funds for those in our community that Josh and Walk On work so hard everyday to help financially and to see that they are not forgotten about, & show them they are cared for, loved and special. ~~

Our organization has worked with the Walk On Foundation and we think they have a unique ability to use their minimal resources to help many people. In this time of competing for the charity dollar, Walk On Foundation is a good 'bang for your bucks.'

This is a amazing organization! These people work hard, with loving hands and hearts. In todays world it is nice to see how much they do for others and ask for nothing in return.
