The Vietnam Veterans of Nashville help our vets and others in many ways, by donating their time and their experience. I currently have two sons serving in the armed forces and they have gained great insight from some of these wonderful men who have served our country and still serve it through this organization!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help many veterans to get their lives back. It could help by getting many of them who are homeless, back on their feet with jobs and a sense of dignity once again.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time

I volunteered with this organization at an event where they were assisting Veterans with resources and support available to them. These guys spend many hours a month on the phone and at events waiting for Veterans to approach to help them find a shining light of hope. They seem tireless in their mission to help Veterans and let them know they are not alone. More Veterans should join the organizations they are affiliated with. They share a unique brother and sisterhood that is hard to find. Veterans from ALL walks of life go to their meetings and feel right at home.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

witnessing the unique bond that exist between Veterans in the community. They welcome anyone and never put pressure on anyone to join. They complete all missions to help Veterans with perserverance and dedication.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

offer more services to Veterans.

About every six months

They hold efficient and informative meetings, looking for service projects that will help veterans or their families. A wonderful group of veterans themselves.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Caring and knowledgeable. Planning events to benefit those in need. Directing veterans to others who specialize in the kind of help that is needed.
