This is my second time bringing a group of developmentally disabled individuals to Victory Reins. First when I worked for St. Coletta's now with Envision Unlimited. I cannot express the utmost love , care, and compassion displayed by Sandy, her husband and all of the volunteers that work at Victory Reins. My clients all had no fear whatsoever getting up to ride a horse for the very first time in their lives. We were there 3 hours and they were able to feed, groom, ride and even "paint" Rasha one of the horses while learning about the various parts of a horse. The horse was so patient and loving. All of the horses are well trained and cared for. Its amazing to watch special needs individuals ride a horse for the first time. To see the smiles and reactions on their faces is truly priceless. Everyone should get a chance to visit this ranch. Its amazing just as the people who own it. This is what making dreams come true is all about.

I first found Victory Reins by searching for a stable that would allow people with special needs to ride horses. I have been in the field of developmental disabilities for 15 years now and am always looking for ways to help my clients achieve all of their goals and dreams. I did not know what to expect when we arrived but the atmosphere was so welcoming!! Sandy the owner was so attentive to all of my clients needs. I had clients who were wheelchair bound with CP and they have adaptive saddles and other adaptive equipment to make it possible for them to ride. I was here in 2009 and it was truly an experience that I will never ever forget. These clients still talk about it and seeing them achieve one of their biggest dreams brought tears to my eyes. It still does when I think about it. Sandy and her staff and horses are truly AMAZING!!! Such dedication and patience!!! This is a wonderful place for all! If you have a special needs child or clients you must experience what Victory Reins has to offer. Sandy is changing lives...believe that!

I'm a veterinarian and my grandson rides at Victory Reins. The horses are well cared for and the barn is clean and organized. Sandy is great with the kids. She relates to each child in ways they can understand. I'm very impressed with the program at Victory Reins.

Victory Reins and all of the volunteers have witnessed it as a greenhouse of Miracles for the Special Needs children and adults from speaking for the first time on a horse to autism , low muscle tone , high muscle tone , all types of disabilities. Sandy makes it fun and very productive for the disabled as she matchs her students with the appropriate horse that can work with the challange to make them stronger , more relaxed and focused and feel good about what they have accomplshed on a horse that they normaly are unable to do . Sandy is gifted to work with these Special kids and adults and gives each student individual attention that is far and beyond what is expected no matter how long the lesson may go on ,she wants to serveeach one with Her Big Heart Of Compassion.....

I am a certified Therapeutic Riding instructor who trained under Sandy from Victory Reins. Sandy is an amazing teacher! I have seen first hand how she has helped children and adults overcome so many obstacles with her riding program. What she offers is wonderful, no matter what age or what disability you are dealing with. You leave with new skills and new accomplishments that you never had before. Safety is always first, but you also have fun with the horses, games, volunteers and other students.
I have been around horses for over 30 years and this is one of the best experiences I have ever had helping others with horseback riding.. These gentle animals ,sincere volunteers and knowledgeable instructors can change your life....try it.....you'll really enjoy it! Giddy up and happy trails!! Brenda O
