In 1991, a few people in New Jersey decided to start an organization that would provide a platform for individuals who want to improve the lives of millions of underprivileged children in India. Collectively, the dreams and actions of these people have resulted in a positive difference in the lives of 150,000 children through 190 projects.

Direct beneficiaries per year: About 40,000

Programs: Vibha makes sure that the contributions are put to good use by directing the money to its partner-projects, all of which are run by dedicated individuals who work with under-privileged children. Projects focus on severely disadvantaged and vulnerable groups - children in bonded labor, street and slum dwelling children. Support is also extended to community development programs focusing on the welfare of the community.

Vibha is truly an incredible organization! I have donated to a couple of events and have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm of the volunteers and leaders. What this organization is doing to help the underprivileged is genuine and self-less...two very important qualities that build a unique and successful non-profit organization! Well done and God bless!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

focused, excited and determined to make a difference!

Vibha is honest and great non profit that helps out children who need help. I have been associated with Vibha as a patron and volunteer from its inception. Volunteer enthusiasm and their drive makes Vibha one of the most coveted non profits to be associated with. Contributing to Vibha has triple benifits : 1. Effective utilization of funds since the projects are well planned to uplift under-previliged children. 2. Encourages youth from effluent class to particpate in such noble cause thereby creating a culture of social responsibility. 3. Gives immense satisfaction being a part of successfull noble mission.

I have been working with Vibha for more than ten years now. I support their work with needy children in many parts of India. I met their India coordinator when she was on a visit to the US and also interacted with their Atlanta team, led by Sri Vijay Vemulapalli. Because of that association, I was able to fund a high school for girls by BCT. When I was president of the Hindu Temple of Atlanta, our temple also funded Vibha's relief operations following Tsunami devastation in India. I have a high regard for Vibha and its operations.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

working with needy children in India and also the honesty, integrity of the volunteers who work in the US/Atlanta area.
