Thank you for making this information available. My husband and I have been trying to find out about this benefit. It will definitely assist in the financial burden we are experiencing.

In preparing to assist my father in securing his VA Aid and Attendance Benefit I learned of the VeteranAid.Org and found the site to be imensely helpful. I studied the resources provided there and read the forums. The end result was that our application was approved in less than 30 days. VerteransAid.org is a top notch site that is clearly driven by a mission of serving seniors and their families!

This is a work in progress. Came across the site while looking for information regarding the Aid & Attendance Benefit for my dad. It has been a rough road with dad, and the information on this site has given step-by-step instructions on starting the process and getting through the system. Thank you. I will come back and update as we progress through the steps.

This website that Debbie has put together is priceless. It has helped so many people get through the bureaucratic red-tape that is so prevalent n the VA system. It has helped in an area that other information does not exist for the benefits this website is intended for. Great Job Veteran Aid.

VeteranAid.org is performing a terrific, and much needed service. The wonderful advice I got from this site enabled our family to get full benefits for our 89-year-old mother

I followed Debbie's advice to the letter, and we got our answer -- and the full benefit allowed -- within two
months of applying. This benefit has made a huge difference in our mother's quality of life. I can't speak highly enough of Debbie and the good work she is doing. I don't think we could have done it on our own.

Thank you, Debbie. You have made a world of difference for our family.

I am an elder law attorney with heavy emphasis on Veteran's Benefits. I am also a veteran. I was looking for information for a client and found VeteranAid.org and was immediately impressed by the depth of knowledge being provided. This is a great forum to get common questions answered.

The VA repeatedly denied my 93 year old father benefits, that he had earned in WW11. After 8 years he finally has been awarded 80 % service connection. Debbie tirelessly worked to help me continue to help my father receive his benefits. There is eight years of work and stories in my father's case but the bottom line is that my father would never have recveived his proper benefits without this organization.

3 yrs ago I was at my wit's end.I'm disabled and my wife had Alsheimer's disease and we did not qualify for Medicaid. Our savings were being depleted by paying someone to come to our home to help us.I was searching for an assisted living facility, when I came across Debbie's forum. With the vast information on her site, I was able to find a place for us and to know that we could afford it with the help of the VA's A&A.We moved into an ALF and with the info on VeternAid.org I filed for A&A.I was approved within 60 days because I followed Debbie's instructions.Thank God for Debbie and all that contribute to her forum.

When my 94 year old Dad changed within weeks from an active, involved senior to one who could no longer care for himself, I was at a loss for what to do, how to keep him at home and keep my job. In my search for resources I was directed to VeteranAid.org to explore the possibility of an Aid and Attendance pension from the VA. This website saved my life, providing all the resources I need to understand the benefit and how to apply, and the support to follow through. Debbie, the founder, is a gift and should be commended for her commitment to Vets and their families. Her own experience drove her to develop this web site, and her dedication to serving those who post there is an inspiration. I will continue to return there even as I reach the successful end to my application process, to report on my results and to help encourage others.

VeteranAid.org is an excellent resource for Veterans and their families to not only learn about VA benefits, but also to find resource information for other things that are aging related. Debbie has a personal passion to help those in need not only get straight, correct information but also to put them on the path to those professionals who are able to assist. Debbie's undying passion has undoubtedly helped countless families that she will never even know about....
