I met Michael Focareto during the time he decided to create this project to help others. On the surface, what appears to be just a ticket venue, is much more. Many foundations and charities are set up to feed and cloth but those are just the items for survival, this group focused on the moments that make life special and create memories that might otherwise be missed. Life is more than existing, it should be about living a shared moment of happiness. They give small windows of opportunity to do so.

VetTix is an excellent organization, allowing our Vets and active duty service personnel and their families the opportunity to attend all kinds of events they most likely would never get the chance to on their own. It's a great feeling for me to be able to give tickets to college basketball games of my alma mater to them!

One of the easiest and best ways for a person to use sports to help others. Particularly pro sports in your local community. Great job overall, keep up the good work!

I've donated to VetTix a couple times and the experience has been outstanding each time. I received personal attention from their staff--who even remembered me from year to year. They are prompt, flexible, and very professional, even when there is a time crunch. I usually receive a follow-up phone call to my donation offer within 2 hours, and arrangements are set soon thereafter. I receive my donation receipt within an hour of confirming the donation. VetTix has allowed me to make someone else's day when I'm not able to attend events for which I'd bought tickets. I've recommended them many times to colleagues and fellow sporting fans. This is a wonderful service for our military and their families.

Receiving direct feedback and "thank yous" from the individuals who were able to use the tickets; not only did they enjoy the games, but I was able to make sure that my seats did not go empty for important events.

What specific problem, purpose, priority, or project prompted your gift?
I had some football tickets that I was not able to sell due to several factors (distance, price, short lead time) and VetTix was the perfect opportunity to have someone use the tickets.
What would you tell others about this organization?
Great organization with a great mission; fast, personal, and easy service; very low (as in zero) hassle, and it gives a feeling of great satisfaction to say "thank you" to our military in this way.
