Review from Guidestar

My son was an inaugural student at Veritas Academy almost 15 years ago. Veritas is a Classical Christian School (based on the Trivium Method). My primary goal in choosing Veritas for my son was to provide him with a decent education and protect him from the public school dogma. What he received was far more than what I realized he needed.

Someone once said “A school is not Christian just because they hang a sign on the door.” Veritas Academy is a perfect example of a TRUE Christian school. The education is geared to help a child to set the bar high and then teach him/her how to obtain the height. Students are not just taught the subject matter, but how to build off their knowledge…leading to growth in discernment. And all this within the bounds of a “godly character” construct. After all; what value is knowledge without godly character? With great love and respect the school works in tandem with the Veritas families to train the “whole person” of each child; holding each child accountable for his/her actions.

So now I serve on the Veritas Academy Board of Directors; working towards maintaining the excellence that she was built on while looking for ways to make our ministry available to all Christian families who would like this education for their children.
